Join sommelier and owner Carolyn Papetti the second Thursday of each month for a  guided Italian wine tasting.

Attendees sample four wines with some light snacks.

Limited to 16 people. Tickets are limited and must be pre-purchased. 

The format is casual in nature and the wine presentation will be done per each group/couple/single as they arrive. As such, it is not necessary to arrive at 6pm sharp but please don't arrive after 7pm!

For families with sophomores and juniors, it can feel unclear when to step in, when to step back, and how to support your child without adding pressure. Julia Guillén Williams brings both professional expertise and real-life perspective to this conversation: "The College Search: When to Lean in and when to step back."

. A bilingual Latina educator and longtime leader within Montgomery County Public Schools, she has spent more than two decades supporting students and families as a counselor and now as a Pupil Personnel Worker, with a focus on student wellness and long-term success.

Just as importantly, she’s living this moment herself—with a high schooler who has come up through DC’s local schools. Julia will share practical guidance on where parents can make the greatest impact, where it’s more effective to step back, and how to keep the process grounded and manageable for the entire family. This is not about doing less—it’s about doing what matters most, at the right time.
